Gabby's Animal Hospital is a medical-themed location in Jamaa. It was formerly known as the Medical Center until an update on September 15, 2016. It was introduced in Kimbara Outback upon the land's release in July 2013 but it was not actually opened until September 12, 2013. It was considered to be the reintroduction of the Medical Center due to the identical names and similar themes. However, this place and the original Medical Center were very different.
Appearance
There are two floors. The bottom floor contains the shop and some covered plaques that are possibly hinting at new items. The top floor has some seats for the patients, a sink, and a hospital bed with a light and IV drip. The walls on the top floor are covered with various medical charts. The music in this room seems very medieval that is mixed with electronics.
Attractions
This room has many interactive features that can be clicked to open trivia popups and short videos. The first floor has a Print and Play table at the bottom middle where players can print activity sheets related to animals and conservation efforts. There are also four picture frames and a projector screen that can be clicked along the first floor's wall to view trivia and a slideshow of images about the current conservation mission and efforts.
Hospital Shop
The Hospital Shop is a land clothing item store that is located in this room. It can be seen inside the building at the front and it only sells medical themed clothing accessories for land animals.
Gabby Wild Videos
The top floor has a projector screen above a metal operating table as well as a pile of old film reels. When clicked, these open a pop-up window that lists all of the current videos in which Dr. Gabby Wild talks about animals and being a veterinarian. On the operating table, there is a stethoscope and a penlight that can be clicked to open short videos where Gabby describes how veterinarians use these tools to help animals.
Trivia
- There was a bed in the Medical Center that only flying animals could reach, but this was later changed into a surgery table.
- The letters on the eye chart spell out the names of Alphas.
- There was a period where the Medical Center had no videos for Jammers to watch from 2014 until September 2016.
