Whack-A-Phantom is a single-player mini-game that can be found in the Summer Carnival. It was first introduced in June 2012.

Gameplay[]

In this game, Phantoms will pop up from holes and then go back down every few seconds. The player's goal is to hit all of the black and golden Phantoms without hitting any of the red, electrified Phantoms. The player can whack a Phantom with their mallet by clicking on the hole that the phantom is in. The game has a timer of approximately 45 seconds, and the game ends when the timer runs out.

Rewards[]

The player is rewarded with Tickets depending upon the number of points that are acquired.

  • Earning less than 20,000 points will reward approximately 1 Ticket for every 290 points with a bonus of 5 Tickets.
  • If the player's score is between 20,000 and 30,000 points, they will earn approximately 3 Tickets for every 400 points, but there will be a deduction of 75 Tickets from the final amount.
  • When the player earns between 30,000 and 45,000 points, they will earn approximately 1 Ticket for every 150 points, but there will be a deduction of 50 Tickets from the final amount.
  • If the player's score is between 45,000 and 50,000 points, they will earn approximately 1 Ticket for every 100 points, but there will be a deduction of 200 Tickets from the final amount.
  • Any score above 50,000 points will reward the player with 350 Tickets.

The player earns 10 points for every Phantom that is hit plus a bonus of 10 points multiplied by the number of Phantoms that have been hit so far. Every time a golden Phantom is hit, the score multiplier will increase by 1. Hitting a red, electrified Phantom will cause the bonus and the multiplier to both reset.

Trivia[]

  • Like most other games at the Summer Carnival, this game costs 5 Gems to play and it does not have any Achievements associated with it.
  • The maximum attainable score is dependent on the particular pattern of Phantoms, which randomly changes between different preset patterns every time the game is played.
