Not to be confused with the Stack Of Books or the Dusty Scattered Books.
The Books are a non-member land den item. They were formerly sold at Jam Mart Furniture and were first released during the Beta Testing. They were removed from stores shortly after Beta Testing ended and have not returned since.
Appearance
The Books consist of five books standing together. The first three (starting from the left) are lime-green, sky-blue, and purple. They stand vertically on top of three sheets of blank cream-colored paper. Adjacent to the purple book are two turquoise books stacked carelessly on top of one another. The topmost turquoise book has a forked velvet-red bookmark drooping out of the top. This item comes in only one variety.
Trivia
- They are commonly nicknamed the Beta Books or Pile of Books.
- This item is seen on the middle shelf of the Wavy Bookshelf.
- This item changed appearance slightly (the back three books were rotated and resized) after Beta Testing ended.
- They are also in the Bunny Burrow in the Return of the Phantoms adventure.
- Unlike most Den Betas, these can not be won in The Forgotten Desert.
